Aleppo is the largest city in Syria and was the heart of the Syrian Civil War from 2012-2016. It is the home to a diverse mix of faiths.

Previously known as Nineveh, it is now one of the most conservative Sunni Muslim cities.

Located on the Mediterranean Sea, Latakia is one of the main port cities of Syria. It has a large Alewite Muslim Population.
